I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist children in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. I have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between us, as the core of what makes life so fascinating.
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Every classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. My role as a teacher is to give children the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge. To accomplish this goal, I will teach to the needs of each child so that all learners can feel capable and successful. I will present curriculum that involves the interests of the children and makes learning relevant to life.
Show them all the beauty they possess inside.
My classroom will be a caring, safe, and equitable environment where each child can blossom and grow. I will allow children to become responsible members of our classroom community by using strategies such as class meetings, positive discipline, and democratic principles. In showing children how to become responsible for themselves as well as their own learning, I am giving them the tools to become successful in life, to believe in themselves, and to love themselves.
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Teaching is a lifelong learning process of learning about new philosophies and new strategies, learning from the parents and community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the children. Children have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the joys, the innocence, and the diversity of ideas in the world. Because of this, I will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children.

Music and Dance
A crucial part of assessing a child’s development is observing how the respond to music.Are they keeping time they music using their feet or hands, or are they quietly taking listening with expressions of wonder. As we look at many cultures, music, singing and dance have no clear divisions – they are seen as a whole activity.
- There is a connection between music and the development of mathematical thinking.
- Children Develop coordination, which aids muscular development.
- Through music and movement, children learn acceptable outlets to express feelings and relieve tension.
- Music and Dance stimulate creativity and imagination.
Therefore music is a regular part of the classroom. At different times throughout the year student participate in dance classes and programs.
Social Activities
Our future is in the hands of the students of today! The way they see the world will determine how they lead our country and even the world in the future. So they must develop a good understanding of their place in society. Opportunities are given to students to develop a selfless attitude and a desire to build up a society free from exploitation and corruption, improving the conditions for all.
- Visiting orphanages and distributing toys.
- Cleaning up different areas and teaching about sanitation and health.
- Collecting blanks and shawls for the homeless.
- Visiting hospitals and old age homes.
Learning
Learning is acquiring knowledge through being taught, studying on one’s own or through personal experience. At BIS we want every student to excel and gain knowledge that will last them a life time therefore we teach and inpart knowledge through integrating many different methods.

Students learn through:
Class Room
Students spend a good part of their academic life in a classroom, so each classroom is designed to meet the needs of the students. Preschool students have bright pictures on the wall; tables where they sit in a circle. They can see and interact with one another. This encourages language development within the students. Toys, crafts and coloring books fill the room and bring joy to the kids as they develop their fine motor skills. Kindergarten classrooms are set in a “U” shape so that teacher can see and work with each child one on one giving that individual care to each student as they learn to read and write. What you will find in our classrooms:
- Classrooms set according to the need of the students
- Freedom to learn inside or outside of the class
- Interactive content and videos for each lesson

Sports
BIS places emphases on self-improvement through competition. Students are actively encouraged to strive to achieve their goals and succeed to their highest capability both in the classroom and on the sports field. Sports help both with physical and mental wellbeing. BIS offers many options to spark the students’ interests. Here are just a few:
